When all the chores are done, the avid gardener will invent some new ones.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

To add color to my garden I have planted Dicentra, Astilbe, Pumonaria, and Plumbago...To see more of Joan Altman's Country Garden, take the tour, |

| CHUCK'S HOOKED ON HOSTA, Member - Chuck Olescyski. I usually collect my own seeds but I also like to obtain seed from other growers who may have a particular cultivar that I don’t have. Some generous souls are even willing to trade or give away seeds but you have to be quick to respond to those offers.Planting hosta seed may surprise you…whether genetically designed by a hybridizer or the seed of an unknown father that drifted into your garden the seedling or hosta baby may develop into tomorrows “ hosta of the year.” Tour the garden. |
